No one paints birds and flowers better than Irma! Irma owns a small tienda (store) in the state of Michoacán, Mexico where she paints in the traditional lacquerware designs that her town is famous for. The traditional lacquerware designs consist of birds, monarch butterflies, dragonflies, and floral designs which are typically painted on gourds or wooden boxes. Lucky for us she transforms plain copper pieces into works of art!
